We'd rather be accurate than look infallible. When a reader catches a mistake, or we spot one ourselves, we fix the page and note it here.
An early draft of How to buy your first crypto quoted a single card-purchase fee. Card fees vary widely by provider, card type, and country, so we replaced it with a range and a reminder to check the figure shown at checkout.
A first version of the homepage said fees are "the same" whether or not you use a code. That was misleading: a referral code never makes you pay more, and it can actually lower your trading fees. We corrected the wording across the site to say exactly that.
Our trading fees guide and fee calculator originally implied the BNB fee discount and the referral discount combine into one fixed rate. They're separate adjustments and the live result depends on your tier and current promotions, so we now show them as distinct toggles and tell you to confirm the real number on the exchange's fee schedule.
